Us
In 2018, I learned that I would be inheriting 15 acres of land—land that held a rich family history. After some research, I discovered that my grandfather had once owned and farmed over 100 acres, growing tobacco, corn, and sorghum. Over time, that land was divided and passed down, including a portion to my dad. But since 1993, it had remained untouched, slowly transforming into a wild forest.
In 2019, despite living three hours away, we began making regular trips to clear trails by hand, reconnecting with its history one step at a time. When Covid hit, it gave us even more reason to dedicate ourselves to this work.
By 2022, we knew it was time to make the move permanent. We packed up and started a new chapter—one rooted in family legacy, resilience, and the dream of bringing this land back to life as a working farm.
Now we raise chickens and goats. We're upscaling our egg production to answer the demand of the current egg shortage. Keep an eye on us to find where we'll be selling soon!
